Traditional prognostic tools for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) often overestimate progression and recurrence risks, underscoring the need for more precise biomarkers. While long non-coding ribonucleic acids (lncRNAs) have been reviewed in bladder cancer, no review has focused on NMIBC. The aim of this study was to address this gap by investigating the role of lncRNAs in predicting NMIBC survival and progression.

Article Synopsis
  • Gliomas are common brain tumors, and this study explores the link between IDH mutations and clinical outcomes specifically in Indonesian patients.
  • A total of 106 patients were analyzed for IDH mutations, revealing that 21.7% had IDH1 mutations, which showed associations with factors like smoking history, tumor location, and overall survival.
  • The findings highlight the significance of recognizing IDH mutations in managing glioma patients in Indonesia, indicating they may influence prognosis and treatment approaches.
