Purpose: To ascertain the pattern, incidence, causes, age and sex distribution, types, condition and treatment of maxillofacial fractures and their interwoven relationship being practiced in Bhopal.
Materials And Methods: Retrospectively 3 year records of patients with maxillofacial fractures from 12 selected centres in Bhopal were reviewed. The following data were extracted from the medical records: age; gender; site of the fracture(s); other associated injury(ies); cause of the trauma and method of treatment(s).
Objective: The study was conducted to assess the usefulness by qualitative comparison between the two intravenous sedative drugs, Diazepam and Propofol and to provide sedation in apprehensive and uncooperative patients undergoing day care oral surgical procedures.
Methods: The present study was conducted on 20 adult patients, 10 in each group (Propofol and Diazepam) irrespective of age and sex. Intravenous sedation of Propofol compared with Diazepam in terms of onset of action, recovery, and anterograde amnesia, patient co-operation, surgeon's convenience and side effects and other parameters.
A parotid fistula is a communication between the skin and a parotid duct or gland through which saliva is discharged. The most common cause of the parotid fistula is trauma. The major causes of parotid trauma in a civilian practice are penetrating injury to the parotid gland from an assault weapon or injury due to shattered glass after a motor vehicle accident.

AOT is an uncommon lesion of odontogenic origin, which affects young individuals, with a female predilection and mostly occurring in the second decade. In the literature, it has been considered as a hamartoma rather than a true neoplasm because of its limited size, minimal growth potential and the lack of recurrence.
