Purpose Of Review: To summarize the current treatment landscape of rheumatoid arthritis-associated interstitial lung disease (RA-ILD) in the context of the recent 2023 American College of Rheumatology/American College of Chest Physicians guideline for ILD treatment in systemic autoimmune rheumatic diseases.
Recent Findings: The guideline conditionally recommends mycophenolate, azathioprine, and rituximab for first-line RA-ILD therapy, with cyclophosphamide and short-term glucocorticoids as additional options. For RA-ILD progression after first line, mycophenolate, rituximab, nintedanib, tocilizumab, cyclophosphamide, and pirfenidone are conditionally recommended, while long-term glucocorticoids are conditionally recommended against.
Introduction: Women with first trimester fasting glycaemia (FTFG) 92-125 mg/dL may present with normal 24-28th week OGTT (2T-OGTT). Predictors of persistent hyperglycaemia were scarcely investigated. Recent Findings: The recent 2023 American College of Rheumatology/American College of Chest Physicians guideline conditionally recommended specific disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs), antifibrotics, and short-term glucocorticoids to treat RA-ILD. Since RA-ILD often affects older adults, we contextualize these pharmacologic options related to infection, gastrointestinal (GI) effects, cancer, cardiovascular disease, and quality of life.
Background: Current literature highlights a gap in precise stroke cost data for Latin America. This study measures the real costs associated with acute ischemic stroke care in Latin America using Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing (TDABC). The findings aim to lay a solid foundation for adopting value-based healthcare (VBHC) strategies in the region.

The authors based on their educational roles, experiences, and scholarship with A3YP provide this perspective of the argument for A3YP and potential disadvantages for each group-students, schools, residencies, departments, and community. When schools consider innovations, they might consider A3YPs for multiple reasons; this perspective helps provide justification for the program and broadly considers return on investment (ROI).

Echocardiogram revealed a patent ductus arteriosus and a hyperechoic oscillating lesion within the main pulmonary artery. Blood cultures and eventual post-mortem examination revealed Candida tropicalis endocarditis.

We aim to investigate rsEEG measures and their prediction of early recovery of consciousness in patients with TBI.
Methods: This is a retrospective study of comatose patients with TBI who were admitted to a trauma center (October 2013 to January 2022).
Objective: To show the experience of a Latin American public hospital, with SNM in the management of either OAB, NOUR or FI, reporting feasibility, short to medium-term success rates, and complications.
Methods: A retrospective cohort was conducted using data collected prospectively from patients with urogynecological conditions and referred from colorectal surgery and urology services between 2015 and 2022.
Results: Advanced or basic trial phases were performed on 35 patients, 33 (94%) of which were successful and opted to move on Implantable Pulse Generator (GG) implantation.
Background And Aims: Magnetic resonance enterography (MRE) depicts transmural changes in response to biological treatment for Crohn's disease (CD); however, the long-term prognostic significance of these findings is unknown. The primary objective of this study was to identify findings on MRE 46 weeks after initiating biological treatment that predict adverse long-term outcomes.
Methods: Patients with CD underwent MRE 46 weeks after initiating biological treatment and were prospectively followed for 2 years.
