Although evidence-based treatments can reduce symptoms of PTSD, treatment attrition is concerning. Unfortunately, evaluations of such approaches with veterans identifying as SGM are currently restricted to case studies offering limited information regarding treatment completion.

Objective: Inadequate vein quality or prior harvest precludes use of autologous single segment greater saphenous vein (ssGSV) in many patients with chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI). Predictors of patient outcome after infrainguinal bypass with alternative (non-ssGSV) conduits are not well-understood. We explored whether limb presentation, bypass target, and conduit type were associated with amputation-free survival (AFS) after infrainguinal bypass using alternative conduits.

Purpose: The AAST Organ Injury Scale is widely adopted for splenic injury severity but suffers from only moderate inter-rater agreement. This work assesses SpleenPro, a prototype interactive explainable artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) diagnostic aid to support AAST grading, for effects on radiologist dwell time, agreement, clinical utility, and user acceptance.

Pyrrole-containing natural products form a large group of structurally diverse compounds that occur in both terrestrial and marine organisms. In the present study the formation of trideuteromethylated artifacts of pyrrole-containing natural products was investigated, focusing on the discorhabdins. Three deuterated discorhabdins, , , and , were identified to be isolation procedure artifacts caused by the presence of DMSO during NMR sample preparation and handling.

This Letter reports the observation of WZγ production and a measurement of its cross section using 140.1±1.2  fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider.

Evidence for the Higgs Boson Decay to a Z Boson and a Photon at the LHC.

The first evidence for the Higgs boson decay to a Z boson and a photon is presented, with a statistical significance of 3.4 standard deviations. The result is derived from a combined analysis of the searches performed by the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations with proton-proton collision datasets collected at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) from 2015 to 2018.

Measurement of CP Violation in B^{0}→ψ(→ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-})K_{S}^{0}(→π^{+}π^{-}) Decays.

A measurement of time-dependent CP violation in the decays of B^{0} and B[over ¯]^{0} mesons to the final states J/ψ(→μ^{+}μ^{-})K_{S}^{0}, ψ(2S)(→μ^{+}μ^{-})K_{S}^{0} and J/ψ(→e^{+}e^{-})K_{S}^{0} with K_{S}^{0}→π^{+}π^{-} is presented. The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 6  fb^{-1} collected at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13  TeV with the LHCb detector. The CP-violation parameters are measured to be S_{ψK_{S}^{0}}=0.

Nerve biopsy in T-cell lymphoma with neurolymphomatosis: where and when.

Peripheral T-cell lymphomas are rare heterogeneous haematological malignancies that may also involve peripheral nerves in a very small subset of cases. We report a patient with a diagnostically challenging cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and multifocal mononeuropathies in whom a targeted nerve biopsy identified lymphomatous infiltration of nerves and expedited combination treatment with chemotherapy and an autologous stem cell transplant. She showed an excellent response with a complete metabolic response on positron emission tomography imaging and significant clinical improvement, maintained 5 years post-treatment.

Modular Knee Arthrodesis as Definitive Treatment for Periprosthetic Infection, Bone Loss, and Failure of the Extensor Mechanism After Total Knee Arthroplasty.

Background: Periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) after total knee arthroplasty (TKA) can result in bone and soft-tissue loss, leg length discrepancies, and dysfunctional extensor mechanisms. While above-knee amputation (AKA) is an established salvage treatment, modular knee arthrodesis (MKA) is a viable option that provides rigid stability and maintains leg length even in patients with severe bone and soft-tissue loss. We sought to report the outcomes of patients with an MKA as the definitive treatment.

Sustaining Preparedness in Hospitals.

Purpose: The years following the 9/11/2001 terrorists attacks saw a marked increase in community and hospital emergency preparedness, from communications across community networks, development of policies and procedures, to attainment and training in the use of biological warfare resources. Regular drills ensured emergency and health care personnel were trained and prepared to address the next large-scale crisis, especially from terrorist and bioterrorist attacks. This chapter looks at some of the more familiar global health issues over the past two decades and the lessons learned from hospital responses to inform hospital management in preparation for future incidents.

Developmental Associations between Cognition and Adaptive Behavior in Intellectual and Developmental Disability.

Background: Intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) are associated with both cognitive challenges and difficulties in conceptual, social, and practical areas of living (DSM-5). Individuals with IDD often present with an intellectual disability in addition to a developmental disability such as autism or Down syndrome. Those with IDD may present with deficits in intellectual functioning as well as adaptive functioning that interfere with independence and living skills.
