Student nurse retention. Lived experience of mature female students on a UK Bachelor of Nursing (Adult) programme: An interpretative phenomenological analysis.

Aims: To explore the lived experiences of mature female students undertaking a Bachelor of Nursing (Adult) programme in the UK, to gain insight into the challenges and barriers faced by students and investigate the factors that support students who have considered leaving, to stay and continue with their studies.

Background: There is a global shortage of nurses and challenges exist in ensuring that enough nurses are available to provide care in the complex and rapidly changing care environments. Initiatives introduced to increase the number of Registered Nurses (RN), include increasing the number of students enrolled on pre-registration nursing programmes.

Identifying dimensions and components of student support system in virtual learning: A scoping review.

A student support system (SSS) has a crucial role in the absorption, retention, and success of students in virtual learning. The purpose of this scoping review was to identify and map the available evidence regarding the dimensions and components of the SSS in virtual learning. This study was conducted in accordance with the methodology of the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) for scoping reviews.

Co-Efficient Vector Based Differential Distributed Quasi-Orthogonal Space Time Frequency Coding.

Distributed space time frequency coding (DSTFC) schemes address problems of performance degradation encountered by cooperative broadband networks operating in highly mobile environments. Channel state information (CSI) acquisition is, however, impractical in such highly mobile environments. Therefore, to address this problem, designers focus on incorporating differential designs with DSTFC for signal recovery in environments where neither the relay nodes nor destination have CSI.

Objectives: To determine the seroprevalence of severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) antibody status amongst healthcare workers (HCWs) working through the first wave of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in 2020. To examine the association of seroprevalence and self-reported COVID-19 symptoms with occupation, sex, and ethnicity; and how these factors were associated with physical and mental wellbeing.

When consent is being obtained, patients must be informed about the intervention, why it is being done and its risks; information they are given must be recorded.
