Objective: To study the dynamics of markers of brain damage, determine their role in postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) and evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic correction of POCD in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy under inhalation anesthesia with sevoflurane.
Material And Methods: We analyzed data of two representative groups of patients (aged 55 years and older) who underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy under inhalation anesthesia with sevoflurane. Perioperative neuropsychological testing was performed for monitoring of higher mental functions (MoCA and FAB).
Objective: To substantiate the advisability of using cytoflavin to correct postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) in patients undergoing video laparoscopic cholecystectomy (VLCE) under conditions of inhalation anesthesia with sevoflurane.
Material And Methods: The data of two representative groups of patients (=60) who underwent video-laparoscopic cholecystectomy under the conditions of inhalation anesthesia with sevoflurane were analyzed. At the stages of the perioperative period, in order to monitor the state of higher mental functions, neuropsychological testing was performed: anxiety and depression scales (HADS), the Montreal scale of cognitive dysfunction (MoCA), and frontal dysfunction batteries (FAB).
Background: In recent years, steadily increasing the number of operations for morbid obesity. One of the most frequently performed worldwide operations at this pathology is the sleeve gastrectomy are approximately 28% of all bariatric surgeries per year It must be stressed that obesity is accompanied by hard changes andfunctional disorders of all body systems, including the respiratory and cardiovascular The aim: to study the effect of respiratory support options combined with high thoracic epidural analgesia, as a component of anesthetic management on central hemodynamics during anesthesia providing endoscopic gastroplasty in patients with morbid obesity.
Materials And Methods: a randomized study of 37 patients with morbid obesity who underwent endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty under anesthesia combined with high thoracic epidural analgesia.

238 patients with atherosclerosis of carotid arteries after reconstructive operations under different types of anesthesia were enrolled in the study. Neuropsychological survey with Montreal cognitive assessment scale, frontal assessment battery and clock drawing test was performed in dynamics. Minimal cognitive dysfunction was mentioned in patients with symptomatic and asymptomatic stenosis after combined anesthesia with regional anesthesia.

It was studied 238 patients after the reconstructive surgeries of atherosclerotic stenosing lesions of carotid arteries using different types of anesthesia. Neuropsychological testing included MMSE, the Frontal Assessment battery and the Clock drawing test. Regional anesthesia in the combination with reduced general anesthesia caused the less pronounced cognitive deficits in patients with symptomatic or asymptomatic stenoses.

It has been established that the intramolecular exchange requires the obligatory presence of a paramagnetic structure containing non-compensated electron spin localized on the carbon atom of the ligand aromatic ring, the cobalt atom being trivalent. The presence of such a structure leads to the appearance of satellite signals in the NMR spectra because of the superfine interactions.

Total intravenous anesthesia with diprivan, combined cervical plexus block anesthesia, and inhaled sevoflurane anesthesia were assessed in 190 patients undergoing carotid endarterectomy. The study of cerebral blood flow and central hemodynamic parameters indicated that deprivan anesthesia suppressed the major hemodynamic parameters, causing associated cerebral circulation depression.

The parameters of hemodynamics and cerebral circulation and the markers of brain lesion were studied. Sevoflurane anesthesia was shown to induce less depression of hemodynamic parameters and to maintain the more optimal level of cerebral circulation, limiting brain ischemic and reperfusion lesions and causing a fewer number of postoperative complications.

Hybrid protein, cancer necrosis factor thymosin-alpha1 (CNF-T), when synthesizing in strain-producer of Escherichia coli SG200-50 with plasmid pThy315, was a part of "inclusion bodies" mostly in the form of a high-molecular complex with other proteins due to the S-S bonds formation. An approach of purification of CNF-T has been proposed, which is based on the destruction of the complex in the presence of sodium dodecylsulfate (DDS-NA) and dithiotreitol (DDT) followed by gel-filtration on Sephadex G-100 and renaturation by ultrafiltration on hollow fibers. The method allows the isolation of electrophoretically homogeneous CNF-T containing no DDS-Na and having high cytotoxic activity against cancer cells of mouse adenocarcinome L-929.

The parameters of brain blood circulation, brain damage markers were studied. It was shown that sevofluran anesthesia caused less depression of the hemodynamic parameters, supported more optimum level of brain blood flow that limited ischemic and reperfusion damage of the brain and was accompanied by a fewer number of postoperative complications.

The drugs have no viricidal action. IFN-gamma, when used according to the treatment scheme in vitro, proved to be more effective versus TMF-T both in HSV-2 and in CMV.

Under conditions preventing the direct binding of phosphorylase kinase to glycogen, we detected the formation of the compound ternary complex of glycogen, phosphorylase and phosphorylase kinase. The complex formation occurs in two stages: (i) the formation of phosphorylase-glycogen complex controlled by ATP, (ii) the binding of phosphorylase kinase to the previously formed phosphorylase-glycogen complex exclusively in the presence of Ca2+ and Mg2+. The process is responsible for the increase of phosphorylase kinase activity in the presence of glycogen.

Study of the parameters of central hemodynamics in the course of aortofemoral shunting for Leriche's syndrome revealed the role of lipid peroxidation dysfunction in the genesis of cardiovascular disorders developing in the immediate postoperative period. The postoperative period is characterized by expressed hypotension developing in the presence of activation of lipid peroxidation and suppression of plasma antioxidative activity. The authors recommend alpha-tocopherol, cytochrome C, and dalargin to prevent these hemodynamic disorders.

The preparations of T and hybrid proteins exhibit immunostimulating action, enhancing specific immunity when injected at different periods of the vaccinal process against Y.

Development of an ordered supramolecular structure on a glycogen granule and strength of the bond between its components are determined by temperature and do not depend on the mobility of the species in question. Specific features of activation of the glycogenolytic enzymes are determined by functional properties of the muscle tissue.

In the L-929 cells, T-TNF preserved cytotoxicity unique to TNF; TNF-T preserved it 10 times less, and T-NTF-T was completely inactive. TNF-T inhibited the growth of Molt-4, Jm-9, Raji cells by 63 = 84%, and TNF suppressed only Raji cells by 50%.

We suggest that glycogenolytic enzymes organize regular structure on glycogen particle. Glycogenphosphorylases of heat-loving animals have high affinity to glycogen that is accounted for necessity to keep the structure in natural conditions.

Recombinant plasmids were constructed which contain fusion genes coding for hybrids of human tumour necrosis factor (TNF) and thymosin alpha 1 as N- or C-terminal part of the hybrid protein. In the C-terminal hybrid protein, TNF and thymosin alpha 1 are linked through a methionine residue, thus allowing for thymosin alpha 1 to be cleaved off the rest of the hybrid protein with cyanogen bromide.

The recombinant plasmids have been constructed encoding the synthesis of a full-sized diphtheria toxin from its own or PR, PL-promoters of bacteriophage lambda in Escherichia coli cells. The high level constitutive synthesis of toxin results in slow cell growth and plasmid elimination. The toxin was mainly detected in the periplasm, partially in the membrane and to a less extent in the cytoplasm and culturing medium.
