[How to help a patient with abacterial prostatitis?].

Introduction: Despite all the achievements of modern medicine, chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS) remains a difficult disorder to treat. Patients are often dissatisfied with the treatment outcomes, since the main symptoms, namely pain and urination disorders, usually decrease, but do not completely resolve.

Aim: To study the efficiency of the combined drug Prostatex Plus in the treatment of patients with CPPS (IIIb).

Circular SAW Resonators: Influence of Sensitive Element Dimensions on Strength Characteristics and First Experimental Samples.

In preceding research endeavors, the frequency characteristics of a ring resonator on surface acoustic waves made of various materials were studied. Investigations encompassed fixation techniques within the housing, the impact of external variables on these components, and the most efficient configuration of the interdigital transducer within the ring resonator to curtail bandwidth. This current study is dedicated to investigating the correlation between sensitivity and the highest measurable acceleration concerning the dimensions of these sensitive elements.

New Solid-State Acoustic Motion Sensors: Sensing Potential Estimation for Different Piezo Plate Materials.

The present paper discusses the scientific and technical problem of optimizing the design and characteristics of a new type of solid-state sensors for motion parameters on bulk acoustic waves in order to increase the signal-to-noise ratio and the detectability of an informative signal against the background of its own noise and interference. Criteria for choosing materials for structural elements, including piezoelectric transducers of the sensitive element, were identified; a corresponding numerical simulation was performed using the developed program; and experimental studies according to the suggested method were carried out to validate the obtained analytical and calculated positions. The experimental results revealed the correctness of the chosen criteria for the optimization of design parameters and characteristics, demonstrated the high correlation between the results of modeling and field studies, and, thus, confirmed the prospects of using this new type of solid-state acoustic sensors of motion parameters in the navigation and control systems of highly dynamic objects.

Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: The theoretical and methodological framework of the paper is represented by the works of scholars in classical existentialism, contemporary philosophers, psychologists, medical psychologists, theologians, sociologists, etc. The complex nature of the issue necessitated the use of interdisciplinary approaches, philosophical, general scientific and special sociological methods of gathering, processing and analyzing information.

Infrared thermal imaging camera to measure low temperature thermal fields.

To measure low-temperature thermal fields, we have developed a single-element cooled thermal imaging camera for a spectral range of 8-14 μm with an internal shutter for radiometric calibration. To improve the accuracy of measuring the temperature of cold objects, we used a shutter with a combined emissivity as an internal reference source of radiation at the input of the device optical unit. With this aim a small mirror was fixed in the center on its surface covered black, thereby ensuring an efficient reflection of radiation in a wide spectral range of wavelengths.

[Impact of the SARS-CV-2 virus on the urinary bladder].

Introduction: There are publications about the impact of a new coronavirus infection (COVID) on the lower urinary tract, including the development of overactive bladder (OAB) or COVID-associated cystitis. The cause of dysuria in patients with COVID is not fully understood.

Material And Methods: A total of 14 consecutive patients after COVID with complaints of frequent urination with urgency were included in the study.

The Role of Exceptionalism in the Evolution of Bioethical Regulation.

The paper aims to present a critical analysis of the phenomenon and notion of exceptionalism in bioethics. The authors demonstrate that exceptionalism pertains to phenomena that are not (yet) entirely familiar to us and could potentially bear risks regarding their regulation. After an overview of the state of the art, we briefly describe the origins and evolution of the concept, compared to exception and exclusion.

This result, typically referred as the Landau-Zener formula, was published by Majorana before Landau, Zener and Stückelberg.

Prognostic of Yield of Potatoes of Promising Domestic Varieties under the Impact of Stress Abiotic Factors.

Twenty-four potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) varieties differing in ripening groups (early, middle-early, and mid-season-ripening) were studied. Potatoes were grown under the conditions of the Middle Volga region of Russia in 2019-2021.

DESCRIPTION OF PROVING INTENTIONAL HOMICIDES INVOLVING POISONOUS SUBSTANCES: THE RELATIONSHIP OF MEDICAL AND PROCEDURAL CONTEXTS.

The purpose of the study is to provide the description of proving intentional homicides involving poisonous substances based on the structural analysis of the medical and criminal procedure criteria of the relevant process. The practical basis for the research is the statistical and analytical materials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine, the Prosecutor's General Office, the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine for 2016-2021; summarized data from the study of 20 materials of criminal proceedings (primarily resolutions on the appointment of forensic and other examinations), materials of mass media. As a result of the research, it was established that the medical description of the concept of poison and possible variants of its use are urgently needed, including during the implementation of the versioning procedure in the pre-trial investigation, as well as establishing the identity of the perpetrator or the list of other similar offenses (committed in a similar way).

Topological Optimization of Circular SAW Resonators: Overcoming the Discreteness Effects.

Recently, we proposed a ring-shaped surface acoustic wave (SAW) resonator sensitive element design, as well as analyzed its characteristics and suggested its optimization strategy, with major focus on their temperature stability. Here, we focus on further optimization of the design to narrow the bandwidth and improve signal detection, while taking into account typical technological limitations. Additionally, the purpose of design optimization and modeling is to check the preservation of operability in the case of lithography defects, which is the most common technological error.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: This research is based on the analysis of the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights, Supreme Court of the US, and Supreme Court of Ukraine; statistical database, in particular of the World Health Organization and survey of 100 Ukrainian residents. During the research of the stated issue systematic method, formal-legal method, comparative method and case study method were used.
