In order to promote school safety for sexual and gender minority youth (SGMY), many schools implement strategies such as SGM-focused policies and gender-sexuality alliances (GSAs). Little is known about the effects such strategies have over time on feelings of safety at school for SGMY. Hierarchical Linear Models were conducted using longitudinal data from 417 SGMY attending secondary schools to examine trajectories of feelings of safety and the effects of SGM-focused policies, GSA presence, or GSA membership on feelings of safety.

Incorporation of decentralized trial elements presents both opportunities and challenges, spanning regulatory, technical, and operational aspects. Salvage Reconstruction of a 12-cm Tendon Defect Following Chronic Achilles Rerupture-15-Year Follow-Up: A Case Report.

Case: A 39-year-old man with a chronic Achilles rupture status post (1) failed primary repair and (2) secondary xenograft repair with graft rejection, resulting in a 12-cm Achilles tendon defect, which was reconstructed utilizing an Achilles bone block allograft and flexor hallucis longus (FHL) tendon transfer. At 15-year follow-up, the patient reported good functionality and satisfaction with the repair, with positive patient-reported outcome measures. Physical examination revealed excellent strength and range of motion.

As the voice of cancer care clinicians and the patients they serve, ASCO has taken steps to elevate awareness about biosimilar products and their use in oncology. Hope is considered a marker of resilience among youth facing oppression, including LGBTQ+ youth. This 8-week weekly diary study among 94 LGBTQ+ youth (ages 14-19; M  = 15.91, 46% youth of color, 44% transgender or nonbinary) in 2021 considered whether a youth's meeting-to-meeting experiences in Gender-Sexuality Alliances (GSAs; LGBTQ+ affirming school clubs) predicted subsequent hope from week to week.

Despite the importance of being both fast and accurate in lethal force decisions, there is little empirical evidence to identify how speed impacts threat-related decisions and perception. Two experiments used speeded and unspeeded manipulations to determine how the speed imperative impacted threat assessments.
