Purpose: To describe a novel corneal surgical technique combining Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty (DALK) with grafting of allogeneic limbus (Limbo-DALK) for the treatment of eyes with corneal stromal pathology and limbal stem cell deficiency (LSCD).

A common severe neurotoxic side effect of breast cancer (BC) therapy is chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) and intervention is highly needed for the detection, prevention, and treatment of CIPN at an early stage. Laser flare photometry provides a non-invasive and objective measurement of the Tyndall effect in the anterior chamber. The laser flare value (measured in photon number per millisecond [pc/ms]) thus quantifies the extent of disruption to the blood-aqueous barrier and can be used in clinical applications to monitor uveitis therapy or to measure the postoperative degree of inflammation.
