Background: Talquetamab (anti-G protein-coupled receptor family C group 5 member D) and teclistamab (anti-B-cell maturation antigen) are bispecific antibodies that activate T cells by targeting CD3 and that have been approved for the treatment of triple-class-exposed relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.
Methods: We conducted a phase 1b-2 study of talquetamab plus teclistamab in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. In phase 1, we investigated five dose levels in a dose-escalation study.
Background And Objectives: Abnormal glymphatic system-related proteins have been identified in a small-scale pathologic study of patients with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD). However, it remains unclear whether glymphatic dysfunction occurs in vivo in patients with CJD and whether this decline begins during the preclinical stage. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between glymphatic dysfunction and clinical characteristics in patients with CJD, as well as potential glymphatic impairment in preclinical CJD.

However, needles generally require training, sharps management and disposal, and pose challenges for autonomous ingestible systems. Here, inspired by the jetting systems of cephalopods, we have developed and evaluated microjet delivery systems that can deliver jets in axial and radial directions into tissue, making them suitable for tubular and globular segments of the gastrointestinal tract.

Our study explored microbial signatures and the association between clinical characteristics and SP then constructed a risk model to find effective biomarkers for predicting pneumonia severity.
Methods: Our study was conducted among 273 patients with pneumonia diagnosed and treated in our hospital from January 2018 to May 2021.
Purpose: The objective of this study is to evaluate the relationship of psoriasis and neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) in a population with diabetic mellitus (DM).
Design: Nationwide, population-based, retrospective cohort study.
Methods: Records of patients over 40 years of age who had been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus from January 2009 to December 2012 were analyzed.
Background: Some data suggest a higher incidence of diagnosis of autoimmune inflammatory rheumatic diseases (AIRDs) among patients with a history of COVID-19 compared with uninfected patients. However, these studies had methodological shortcomings.
Objective: To investigate the effect of COVID-19 on long-term risk for incident AIRD over various follow-up periods.
Early detection of lung cancer is crucial for patient survival and treatment. Recent advancements in next-generation sequencing (NGS) analysis enable cell-free DNA (cfDNA) liquid biopsy to detect changes, like chromosomal rearrangements, somatic mutations, and copy number variations (CNVs), in cancer. Machine learning (ML) analysis using cancer markers is a highly promising tool for identifying patterns and anomalies in cancers, making the development of ML-based analysis methods essential.

In contrast, whole-body (WB) MRI has shown high sensitivity for detecting bone lesions. Purpose To develop and validate a semiquantitative WB MRI scoring system for newly diagnosed MM and to compare it with the International Staging System (ISS) and Revised ISS (R-ISS).

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic performance of methylation-sensitive restriction enzyme digestion followed by sequencing (MRE-Seq) using cfDNA, and to investigate the cancer signal origin (CSO) of the cancer using a deep neural network (DNN) analyses for liquid biopsy of colorectal and lung cancer. We developed a selective MRE-Seq method with DNN learning-based prediction model using demethylated-sequence-depth patterns from 63,266 CpG sites using SacII enzyme digestion.

Purpose To evaluate the interobserver agreement and diagnostic performance of MRI assessment in predicting the malignant potential of IPMN according to radiologists' experience. Materials and Methods This multicenter retrospective study included 100 patients with pathologically proven pancreatic IPMN (77 patients with surgery, 23 patients with biopsy) who underwent contrast-enhanced MRI between 2016 and 2021.

However, the resolution of SRS microscopy remains governed by the diffraction limit. To overcome this, a new technique called molecule anchorable gel-enabled nanoscale Imaging of Fluorescence and stimulated Raman scattering microscopy (MAGNIFIERS) that integrates SRS microscopy with expansion microscopy (ExM) is described.

Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional, observational, retrospective study across 6 continents, 70 countries, and 457 stroke centers. Diagnoses were identified by their ICD-10 codes or classifications in stroke databases.

Purpose: We sought to assess the relationship between retinal nonperfusion area (NPA) on ultra-widefield fluorescein angiography (UWFA) and renal function in type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) patients with diabetic retinopathy (DR) and nephropathy.
Methods: UWFA was performed in 248 eyes (124 patients) with DR, comprising 94 eyes from patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) caused by diabetes and 154 eyes without CKD (non-CKD). Serum creatinine level (Cr), estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), urine albumin/creatinine ratio (UACR), and urine protein/creatinine ratio (UPCR) were collected.
Background Accurate identification of microvascular invasion (MVI) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) before treatment is critical for selecting a proper treatment strategy. Purpose To evaluate the interobserver agreement and the diagnostic performance of the MRI assessment of MVI in HCC according to the level of radiologist experience. Materials and Methods This retrospective study included 100 patients with surgically confirmed HCCs smaller than 5 cm who underwent gadoxetic acid-enhanced MRI between 2013 and 2016.

In the Taizhou Longitudinal Study (TZL), 123,115 healthy subjects provided plasma samples for long-term storage and were then monitored for cancer occurrence. Here we report the preliminary results of PanSeer, a noninvasive blood test based on circulating tumor DNA methylation, on TZL plasma samples from 605 asymptomatic individuals, 191 of whom were later diagnosed with stomach, esophageal, colorectal, lung or liver cancer within four years of blood draw.

However, the diagnostic performance is yet to be verified. Purpose To evaluate the revised guidelines for predicting malignant potential of pancreatic IPMNs and to compare diagnostic performance and intermodality agreement between contrast material-enhanced CT and MRI.
