: The development of a five-in-one vaccine microneedle patch (five-in-one MN patch) aims to address challenges in administering vaccines against Diphtheria (DT), Tetanus (TT), Pertussis (wP), Hepatitis B (HBsAg), and type b (Hib). Combining multiple vaccines into a single patch offers a novel solution to improve vaccine accessibility, stability, and delivery efficiency, particularly in resource-limited settings. : The five-in-one MN patch consists of four distinct microneedle arrays: DT and TT vaccines are coated together on one array, while wP, HepB, and Hib vaccines are coated separately on individual arrays.

Migrant domestic workers (MDWs) offer continuous services for older adults worldwide, recompensing for dwindling support from family members. The study objectives were to explain how the quality of dyadic relationships with MDWs is associated with older adults' loneliness and further explore older adults' perceived experiences of care by MDWs.

This study employed a rational peptide design approach to develop MyD88 inhibitory peptides targeting the MyD88 interaction interface. The designed peptide, MyDIP2-4, was evaluated for its efficacy in inhibiting MyD88-dependent signaling in human and mouse cell lines.

Design: Population-based data linkage cohort study.
Patients: A total of 29,152 ART-conceived singleton births from 24,116 mothers, 2010-2017, New South Wales, Australia.
Purpose: To analyze cartilage regeneration and clinical outcomes after human umbilical cord blood-derived mesenchymal stem cell (hUCB-MSCs) implantation on the basis of the distribution and location of medial femoral condyle (MFC) cartilage defects.
Methods: Patients who underwent hUCB-MSC implantation for MFC cartilage defects involved in isolated medial compartment osteoarthritis were included. The patients were divided into 2 groups, those with MFC defects located within the anterior-central portion (group A) and those with MFC defects extending to the posterior portion (group P).
In 2017, the American College of Radiology introduced the US Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System (LI-RADS) as a framework for US surveillance of patients at risk for developing hepatocellular carcinoma. This has aided in the standardization of technique, clinical reporting, patient management, data collection, and research. Emerging evidence has helped inform changes to the algorithm, now released as LI-RADS US Surveillance version 2024.

The precise causative effect of iodinated contrast media on CI-AKI and its relevant risk factors remains an area of ongoing investigation. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the risk of CI-AKI following contrast-enhanced CT and its predisposing risk factors.

We aimed to investigate the performance of artificial intelligence-based algorithms in predicting LV systolic dysfunction (LVSD) in patients with AF and rapid ventricular response (RVR).
Methods And Results: This study is an external validation of a pre-existing deep learning algorithm based on residual neural network architecture.
The human interleukin-1 receptor I (IL-1R1) is a cytokine receptor recognized by interleukin 1β (IL-1β), among other cytokines. Over activation of IL-1R1 has been implicated in various inflammatory conditions. This research aims to identify small-molecule inhibitors targeting the hIL1R1/IL1β interaction, employing a multi-task transfer learning approach for quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) modelling.

Auricular vagus nerve stimulation (aVNS) is one of the promising neuromodulation techniques due to its non-invasiveness, convenience, and effectiveness. aVNS has been suggested as a potential treatment for neurodegenerative diseases showing impaired cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) dynamics. Improving CSF flow has been proposed as a key mechanism of the therapeutic effect on neurodegenerative diseases.

Materials And Methods: Participants in this single-institution retrospective study underwent brain MRI to evaluate cognitive impairment between January-September 2023. For training the DL model, the nnU-Net framework was used without modifications.
Background: Latrophilin-2 (Lphn2), an adhesive GPCR (G protein-coupled receptor), was found to be a specific marker of cardiac progenitors during the differentiation of pluripotent stem cells into cardiomyocytes or during embryonic heart development in our previous studies. Its role in adult heart physiology, however, remains unclear.
Methods: The embryonic lethality resulting from deletion necessitates the establishment of cardiomyocyte-specific, tamoxifen-inducible knockout mice, which was achieved by crossing mice with mice having MerCreMer (tamoxifen-inducible Cre [Cyclization recombinase] recombinase) under the α-myosin heavy chain promoter.
Effective management of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) necessitates the accurate measurement of disease activity using a treat-to-target strategy established as a cornerstone approach. Disease activity assessment tools such as the Disease Activity Score in 28 joints (DAS28), Simplified Disease Activity Index, Clinical Disease Activity Index, and Routine Assessment of Patient Index Data 3 have been internationally validated and recognised. In Korea, the government initiated a quality assessment program mandating routine measurement of DAS28 to ensure high-quality RA management.

This study aimed to investigate Hong Kong young adults' physical activity, related behaviors, and perceptions of body image during the pandemic. A cross-sectional online survey of young adults aged 18-29 was conducted from February to March 2021 using the well-validated Multidimensional Body Self-Relations Questionnaire (MBSRQ).

TALE-linked double-stranded DNA deaminase toxin A (DddA)-derived CBEs (DdCBEs) and TALE-linked adenine deaminases (TALEDs) install C-to-T and A-to-G single-nucleotide conversions, respectively, in mitochondria and chloroplasts. Interestingly, whereas TALEDs exclusively induce A-to-G conversions without C-to-T conversions in mammalian mitochondrial DNA, they often install unwanted C-to-T edits in addition to intended A-to-G edits in plastid DNA.
