Body mass index (BMI) can serve as a reasonable indicator of overall body fat content in pigs. This study aimed to identify underlying variants and candidate genes associated with BMI in Yunong-black pigs. A single-step genome-wide association analysis (GWAS) was performed on 1405 BMI records and 924 Yunong-black pigs genotyped using a 50 K SNP Chip.

Firstly, we established an in vivo model of cardiac remodeling by transverse aortic narrow (TAC), and then we stimulated a human cardiomyocyte cell line (AC16) and a human cardiac fibroblast cell line (HCF) using 1 μmol/L angiotensin II (Ang II) to establish an in vitro model of cardiac hypertrophy and an in vitro model of myocardial fibrosis, respectively.

Inflamma-aging is a major feature in the process of aging, and the chronic neuroinflammation caused by inflamma-aging is closely related to AD. As the main participant of neuroinflammation, the polarization of microglia (MG) could influence the development of neuroinflammation.

While previous research has focused on the offline participation in e-sports events, the shift towards live streaming engagement has created a new and underexplored area: the motivations for live streaming viewing among e-sports fans. Consequently, this research develops an e-sports Live Streaming Viewing Motivation Scale for evaluating both intrinsic and extrinsic motivations underlying e-sports fans' live streaming engagement, and then utilises SPSS 26.

Although increasing the optical aperture of space optical remote sensors (SORSs) improves image resolution, it exacerbates the effects of the space environment on imaging quality. Thus, this study proposes thermal active optical technology (TAO) to enhance image quality while increasing the optical aperture of SORSs by actively correcting in-orbit wavefront aberrations.
