[Effectiveness of reslip (doxylamine) in short-term insomnia: multicenter comparative randomized study].

Aim: Evaluate the efficiency of reslip (doxylamine) in short-term insomnia in comparison with donormyl in multicenter comparative randomized study.

Material And Methods: The study was conducted in 6 medical centers and included 60 patients aged from 30 to 59 years with short-term insomnia. Patients were divided into two groups: in first one patients took reslip and in the second one donormyl in same dosage and regimen.

Clinical-neurophysiological investigation of the efficiency of complex metabolic neuroprotector Cytoflavin in monotherapy was performed in 64 children of 4-8 years old with the minimal cerebral dysfunction. During the treatment other preparations were not used. Neurologic status, neurophysiological inspection, neuropsychophysiological and speech testing were performed before and after the course of treatment.

Developmental features and rates of the higher mental functions (HMF) have been investigated during medical-rehabilitation measures. The original complex of neuropsychophysiological testing programs allows to quantitatively and qualitatively estimate a degree of HMF development in children.

[Cryopreservation of a suspension of fetal liver cells for clinical use].

The authors evaluate a method of procuring and preserving fetal liver cells in a medium containing low-molecular polyvynilpyrrolidon, glucose, lactose, sodium phosphate and sodiumhydrocitrate not requiring washing off. The biomaterial is stored at a temperature of -196 degrees C. The efficiency of this method of cryopreservation of fetal liver cell suspensions was confirmed by high morphological intactness, functional activity and proliferative capacity.
