Full-thickness skin wounds remian a significant and pressing challenge. In this study, we introduce a novel composite hydrogel, CS + GA + Zn-HA. This hydrogel is formulated by incorporating 1 % (1 g/100 mL) of bioactive Zinc-substituted hydroxyapatite nanoparticles (Zn-HA) and 0.

The importance of sample preparation selection if often overlooked particularly for untargeted multi-omics approaches that gained popularity in recent years. To minimize issues with sample heterogeneity and additional freeze-thaw cycles during sample splitting, multiple -omics datasets (e.g.

Ships generate large amounts of air pollutants, including nitrogen dioxide (NO) that profoundly impacts air quality and poses serious threats to human health. It is crucial to understand the dynamics and drivers of ship-induced NO concentrations in China to support the prevention and control of fine particulate matter (PM) and ozone (O) pollution. This study built Generalized Additive Models (GAMs) to reveal the nonlinear effects of meteorological factors and ship emissions on ship-induced NO concentrations based on the Tropospheric Monitoring Instrument (TROPOMI) satellite data, AIS based emission model and meteorological data.

Brown adipose tissue (BAT) is responsible for non-shivering thermogenesis, but it is absent in some mammals, including pigs. During development, BAT progenitors are derived from paired box 7 (Pax7)-expressing somitic mesodermal stem cells, which also give rise to skeletal muscle. However, the intrinsic mechanisms underlying the fate decisions between brown fat and muscle progenitors remain elusive.

The NS1 protein of nine mosquito-borne flaviviruses, including Dengue virus 1-4, Japanese encephalitis virus, West Nile virus, Yellow fever virus, Tembusu virus, and Zika virus, shows distinct codon usage and evolutionary traits. Codon usage analysis shows notable base composition bias and non-conservatism in NS1, with distinct evolutionary traits from its ORF. Analysis of relative synonymous codon usage (RSCU) indicates that the NS1 genes exhibit non-conservative RSCU patterns within different mosquito-borne pathogenic flaviviruses.
