Glioblastoma (GBM), a highly aggressive brain tumor, poses significant treatment challenges due to its highly immunosuppressive microenvironment and the brain immune privilege. Objectives: Adenosine deaminase (ADA) is a critical enzyme in the catabolism of adenosine acid during purine metabolism and plays a significant role in the diagnosis and monitoring of various diseases. This study aims to investigate the relationship between serum ADA levels and risk of diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), providing a clinical basis for the prevention and treatment of DFU.

Targeting endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress-induced apoptosis has attracted considerable research interest in anti-cancer drug development. Nur77 is a potential therapeutic target in many cancers and several Nur77 modulators have recently been identified as effective anticancer agents by activating ER stress. As an ongoing work, this study reports a new series of novel N-(2-(adamantan-1-yl)-1H-indol-5-yl)-N-(substituent)-1,2-dicarboxamides as potent Nur77 modulators that cause ER stress-induced apoptosis.

Amidst the global restructuring of the semiconductor supply chain, this paper constructs a global semiconductor trade network (2007, 2012, 2017, 2021) encompassing three segments (raw materials, equipment, and finished components), based on the CEPII database. After initially exploring trade flows among different regions, the paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the network's overall structure and the significance of its nodes. Furthermore, the evolution of the trade network's community structure is discussed and its robustness and dynamics over recent years are assessed through computer program simulation.
