OBJECTIVE. We describe the perceived adequacy of educational preparation for and comfort level of occupational therapy practitioners in providing services to clients with low vision and identify factors associated with the practitioners' comfort level. METHOD.

Stroke liaison workers for stroke patients and carers: an individual patient data meta-analysis.

Background: Many patients experience depression, social isolation and anxiety post stroke. These are associated with a poorer outcome. Ameliorating these problems may improve patient wellbeing.

Family support for stroke: one year follow up of a randomised controlled trial.

Background: There is evidence that family support can benefit carers of stroke patients, but not the patients themselves.

Objective: To extend the follow up of a single blind randomised controlled trial of family support for stroke patients and carers to one year to ascertain whether there were any late effects of the intervention.
