Breast cancer stands as the most prevalent form of cancer amongst females, constituting more than one-third of all cancer cases affecting women. It causes aberrant cell development, which can assault or spread to other sections of the body, perhaps leading to the patient's death. Based on research findings, timely detection can diminish the likelihood of mortality and enhance the quality of healthcare provided for the illness.

Background And Objectives: Renal involvement in systemic sclerosis remains a significant concern with the focus often centered on scleroderma renal crisis (SRC). However, the broader spectrum of renal manifestations, beyond SRC, remains underrecognized. In our case-control analysis, we describe other causes, risk factors, and renal outcomes of acute kidney injury (AKI) in systemic sclerosis other than SRC.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a fatal neurodegenerative disorder characterized by progressive skeletal muscle denervation and loss of motor neurons that results in muscle atrophy and eventual death due to respiratory failure. Previously, we identified a novel SOD1 variation in a familial ALS case. In this study, we examined the functional consequences of SOD1 overexpression in the mouse motor neuron cell line (NSC-34).

Introduction: (wormwood) exhibits anticancer properties by inhibiting proliferation and causing cell death in breast cancer. Targeted drug delivery of nanoformulation using N-isopropyl acrylamide, N-vinyl pyrrolidone, and acrylic acid-based polymeric nanoparticles (NVA-AA NPs) was ensured by utilizing features of the tumor microenvironment, although their mechanism of action involved in cytotoxicity remains unknown.

Methods: The present study employed nano LC-MS/MS to identify differences in secretory protein expression associated with the treatment of breast cancer cell lines (MCF-7; MDA-MB-231) by NVA-AA NPs for the determination of affected pathways and easily accessible therapeutic targets.
