Background: Proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9) monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) have demonstrated promising effects in lowering cardiovascular incidents among patients with acute coronary syndrome. However, their influence on early platelet reactivity after primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI) remains unclear.

Objectives: This research sought to investigate the effects of entirely human anti-PCSK9 antibodies on platelet function as measured by thrombelastography and 12-month postoperative results in patients receiving PPCI and treated with ticagrelor-based dual antiplatelet therapy.

The study of land cover dynamics and the valuation of ecosystem services in coastal cities is pivotal for guiding sustainable urban development and conserving natural resources amidst the unique challenges posed by their geographical and ecological contexts. This study utilizes a 30 m × 30 m land use/cover change (LUCC) dataset to elucidate the spatiotemporal evolution of LUCC and ecosystem service value (ESV) and the trade-offs and synergistic relationships among ecosystem services in the coastal city of Qingdao under three different scenarios over the past 35 years and in the future based on the dual perspective of the past-future by using the equivalent factor approach (EFA), the PLUS model, and Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. The findings reveal a pronounced expansion in built-up areas in Qingdao from 1985 to 2020, with a concomitant significant reduction in cropland, leading to a fluctuation in the total ESV, which initially increased and then declined.

In recent years, it was found that lysine malonylation modification can affect biological metabolism and play an important role in plant life activities. Platycodon grandiflorus, an economic crop and medicinal plant, had no reports on malonylation in the related literature. This study qualitatively introduces lysine malonylation in P.

is a heterotrophic bacterium commonly found in diverse marine environments. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of strain SOCE 003, which is 5,154,101 bp long, encoding 5,524 annotated protein-coding genes, 39 tRNAs, and 8 rRNAs. This genome information will help us understand the ecology of .

CRISPR/Cas 12a system based nucleic acid and non-nucleic acid targets detection faces two challenges including (1) multiple crRNAs are needed for multiple biomarkers detection and (2) insufficient sensitivity resulted from photobleaching of fluorescent dyes and the low kinetic cleavage rate for a traditional single-strand (ssDNA) reporter. To address these limitations, we developed a programmable DNA nanoswitch (NS)-regulated plasmonic CRISPR/Cas12a-gold nanostars (Au NSTs) reporter platform for detection of nucleic acid and non-nucleic acid biomarkers with the assistance of the spatial confinement effect. Through simply programming the target recognition sequence in NS, only one crRNA is required to detect both nucleic acid and non-nucleic acid biomarkers.
