The effects of wheat and oat dietary fiber (DF) alone or combined on T2DM remain unclear. In this research, / diabetic mice were fed with diets containing 10% insoluble wheat dietary fiber (WDF), 10% insoluble oat dietary fiber (ODF), and 10% WODF (mixture of WDF and ODF, WDF : ODF = 1 : 1) for 8 weeks. The results showed that WDF, ODF, and WODF all reduced the body weight and fasting blood glucose (FBG) and improved oral glucose tolerance in / mice.

Background: Advances in treatment have swiftly alleviated systemic inflammation of Takayasu's arteritis (TAK), while subclinical vascular inflammation and the ensuing arterial remodeling continue to present unresolved challenges in TAK. The phenotypic switching of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC) is regarded as the first step in vascular pathology and contributes to arterial remodeling. Exosomes facilitate the transfer and exchange of proteins and specific nucleic acids, thereby playing a significant role in intercellular communication.

In order to increase the added value of Xanthoceras Sorbifolia Bunge (XSB) and to obtain green biomass activated carbon with abundant pores for efficient MG removal, this study was the first to prepare XSB-based high-performance activated carbon using KOH activation. Activated at temperatures between 600 and 800 °C, XSBAC-800 exhibited the highest specific surface area (1580 m/g) and pore volume (0.732 cm/g), leading to superior MG adsorption.

Exosomes, small extracellular vesicles secreted by various cell types, have emerged as key players in the pathophysiology of autoimmune diseases. These vesicles serve as mediators of intercellular communication, facilitating the transfer of bioactive molecules such as proteins, lipids, and nucleotide. In autoimmune diseases, exosomes have been implicated in modulating immune responses, oxidative stress, autophagy, gut microbes, and the cell cycle, contributing to disease initiation, progression, and immune dysregulation.

Molybdenum disulfide quantum dots (MoS2 QDs) is a new type of graphite like nanomaterial, which exhibited well chemical stability, unique fluorescence characteristics, and excellent biocompatibility. The conventional hydrothermal synthesis of MoS2 generally requires a long-term reaction at high temperature and high pressure. Herein, we have developed a simple and fast MoS2 QDs synthesis scheme using microwave heating, and further modified the surface of MoS2 QDs using 3-aminophenylboronic acid.
