Background: Cystic fibrosis (CF) is an incurable, progressive disease that affects multiple organs, causing burdensome symptoms. This study aimed to explore the palliative care needs in patients with CF, focusing on health-related quality of life (HRQOL), fatigue, anxiety and depression.
Methods: From October 2019 to March 2020, a cross-sectional questionnaire survey was conducted with outpatients with CF at the Infectious Medicine Clinic in a Danish University Hospital.
Background: Metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) is the main cause of CRC mortality, with limited treatment options. Although immunotherapy has benefited some cancer patients, mCRC typically lacks the molecular features that respond to this treatment. However, recent studies indicate that the immune microenvironment of mCRC may be modified to enhance the effect of immune checkpoint inhibitors.

The focus of this study was the development of a joint control system (JCS) for a municipal wastewater treatment plant (mWWTP) and an upstream industrial wastewater treatment plant (iWWTP) to create synergies for saving aeration energy. Therefore, an ASM3 + BioP model of the mWWTP was developed to test different scenarios and to find the best set-points for the novel JCS.
