Total knee replacement (TKR) is a common surgical procedure for osteoarthritis (OA) patients. TKR may increase susceptibility to herpes zoster (HZ) by inducing immunosuppression, surgical stress, and nerve injury. However, limited data exist on the relationship between TKR and HZ.

The surface morphology of these microspheres and their efficacy in degrading methyl violet were further modulated by varying the thermal annealing temperatures. Adjusting the thermal annealing temperatures was crucial for controlling the porosity of the ZnCo₂O₄-Zn(OH)₂ microspheres, enhancing their photocatalytic performance.

Peri-implantitis or peri-mucositis, inflammatory conditions linked to dental implants, pose a significant threat to implant success. We developed a single-cell analysis approach using a murine model to assess the immune response to implant materials, offering a practical screening tool for potential dental implants.

In this study, the wound healing effect of clonidine was evaluated using an excision wound model in diabetic rats and a HaCaT cell model. The wounds were treated daily with topical clonidine.

Among the tested pyrazolopyrimidine compounds, we found 6-aminopyrazolopyrimidines and 6-(aminomethyl)pyrazolopyrimidines with essential o-ClPh or p-ClPh substituted moieties on N-1 pyrazole ring exhibited the best IC inhibition activity for Jurkat cells. Furthermore, optimization of the SAR study on the C-6 position of pyrazolopyrimidine ring demonstrated that 6-(N-substituted-methyl)pyrazolopyrimidines 17b, 17d, and 19d possessed the significant IC inhibitory activity for the different leukemia cell lines, especially for Jurkat, K-562, and HL-60.
