Objective: To evaluate whether a person-centered care practice following surgery for pituitary tumors increased psychological well-being. Secondary aims were to study whether person-centered care would lead to better health status, less fatigue, and better self-efficacy.

Design And Methods: The study is a prospective, single center study using a quasi-experimental design to evaluate the effect of a 12-month person-centered practice by means of a name-given nurse care manager, an interdisciplinary team, and peer-support against usual care.

Background: Asymptomatic patients with meningiomas are increasingly detected, where management can be challenging in terms of surgery versus watchful waiting. Health-related quality of life (HRQoL) is an important factor in clinical decision-making, albeit not greatly studied in this patient group. Background: Traditionally managed semi-natural pastures are recognised for their high biodiversity. One drawback is that these pastures are often low in fodder production and hence rather unprofitable, which may lead to abandonment. Two ways to increase production and profitability and maintain grazing are to (i) offer the grazers supplementary feed, or (ii) co-enclose the semi-natural pasture with an improved pasture.
