Background: Ticagrelor monotherapy after 1-3 months of dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) has shown to be effective and safe after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), including in patients with an ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Direct omission of aspirin could further reduce bleeding complications and may reduce the incidence and expansion of intramyocardial haemorrhage (IMH), a frequent complication after revascularisation for a STEMI.

Methods: This multicentre open label pilot study randomises 200 STEMI patients within 24 hours after primary PCI and before the first subsequent dose of aspirin to ticagrelor monotherapy or ticagrelor plus aspirin for twelve months.

Background: Behavioral parent training (BPT) is a well-established intervention for children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), but most programs are long, which may limit their accessibility. This could be improved by making programs shorter. Here, we studied (1) the feasibility of a new brief BPT program and its procedures, and (2) pre-post changes in daily rated problem behaviors (primary outcome), children's disruptive behaviors, ADHD/ODD characteristics, impairment, and parents' sense of parenting competence (secondary outcomes).

Children with ADHD are theorized to experience increased negative emotional responses to punishment, compared to typically developing (TD) children, resulting in altered behavioral responding (Amsel, 1992). However, this has not been empirically tested. The current study evaluated the effects of punishment and reward on the behavioral and emotional responding of children with and without ADHD.
