Background: Indonesia has implemented a series of healthcare reforms including its national health insurance scheme (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional, JKN) to achieve universal health coverage. However, there is evidence of inequitable healthcare utilization in Indonesia, raising concerns that the poor might not be benefiting fully from government subsidies. This study aims to identify factors affecting healthcare utilization in Indonesia.

A 3-level, 3-factor Central Composite Design was applied to examine and validate the impact of various formulation variables, Eudragit, PEG, and oleic acid on in vitro drug release, flux, and tensile strength (TS).

Box-Behnken Design was used to evaluate effect of process variables (rice starch:WPI ratio; feed moisture and barrel temperature) on quality characteristics of resistant starch-rich, low GI extruded snacks (RSLG-E). Optimum conditions for development of RSLG-E were WPI:18.

Background: Transition to adulthood is a vulnerable time for emerging adults (16-25 years of age) with sickle cell disease (SCD), as there is a seven-fold increase in mortality rates during the transition period. Emerging adults with SCD also have the highest rates of hospitalizations, emergency room visits, and hospital readmissions compared to other age groups. Community health worker (CHW) programs have been developed to address outcomes such as patient activation which includes an individual's knowledge, skill, and confidence for managing one's health and healthcare, quality of life, and healthcare utilization for patients with chronic illnesses.
