Free-breathing 3D cardiac extracellular volume (ECV) mapping using a linear tangent space alignment (LTSA) model.

$\textbf{Purpose:}$ To develop a new method for free-breathing 3D extracellular volume (ECV) mapping of the whole heart at 3T. $\textbf{Methods:}$ A free-breathing 3D cardiac ECV mapping method was developed at 3T. T1 mapping was performed before and after contrast agent injection using a free-breathing ECG-gated inversion-recovery sequence with spoiled gradient echo readout.

Parallel compressive sensing in a hybrid space: Application in interventional MRI.

Recently, susceptibility based positive contrast MRI technique emerged as an effective method of visualizing the small MR compatible devices, such as brachytherapy seeds. One of the challenges associated with this method is the long scan time. In this work, we present an accelerated susceptibility based positive contrast MR imaging method, in which the susceptibility map can be generated from an under-sampled data.

The role of renal autotransplantation in treatment of nutcracker syndrome.

To report our experience with renal autotransplantation in treatment of gross hematuria caused by nutcracker Syndrome (NCS). Between September 2005 and January 2008, four patients of mean age 25.5 years (range: 23-28) with gross hematuria were diagnosed to have NCS.
