[The impact of nutrient prosperity of the body on the alimentary status of junior high school pupils within the framework of the implementation of health-saving technologies].

In the work there was performed the assessment of the actual nutrition of high school pupils, its impact on the nutritional status and efficiency of the implementation in the modern educational process certified vitamin-mineral complexes as a health-saving component of the optimization of rations. The introduction of additional vitamin-mineral complexes into the food of high school pupils was established to lead to the optimization of nutrition content by most of macro- and micronutrients, which in turn contributed to the increase in the number of children with an adequate supply of the body with vitamins and also contributed to the increase of students with a satisfactory adaptation by 44.3%, cases having sufficient performance reserves by 48.

[Hygienic substantiation of rational nutrition for grammar schoolchildren].

The article presents the results of a study of factual nutrition and nutritional status of schoolchildren and grammar schoolchildren. The data obtained indicate that the nutrition of pupils is irrational and inadequate and does not satisfy the needs of the body of the grammar-schoolchildren in nutrients, which leads to a decrease in the level of efficiency, adaptive reserve capacity of the body and the low supply of vitamin B2, A, E, compared with schoolchildren.

[Characteristics of the biochemical status of urban versus rural general educational school pupils].

The paper gives the results of a study of the biochemical status of general educational school pupils in Orenburg and the Sakmarsky District, Orenburg Region. The findings suggest that biochemical abnormalities found in the urban and rural schoolchildren may result from nutrition that is irrational and inadequate in terms of their age and gender.

[Eosinophilic reactions in bronchial asthma patients and the possibilities to neutralize them under sanatorium treatment].

Patients with eosinophilic variant of bronchial asthma demonstrate high levels of fibrinolytic activity in their bronchial secretion along with low content in same of Ig A, as evidenced by findings obtained in the course of sanatorium treatment. There is usually no correlation between the above changes and routine methods of health resort treatment. The judicious employment in a complex of therapeutic measures of aerosols of hydrocarbonate of sodium and heparin promotes neutralization of cationic proteins and large major protein of eosinophiles in the bronchial lumen whereby there occurs normalization of Ig A levels in the sputum along with lowering of its fibrinolytic activity.

[A comparative evaluation of the efficacy of immunocorrection in children with bronchial asthma living in ecologically contrasted regions].

Overall 50 children suffering from infectious-allergic bronchial asthma who live in ecologically contrasting regions were examined. Those children residing in unfavourable, in terms of ecological conditions, regions demonstrated diminution of the peripheral blood T-lymphocytes together with a decrease in their functional activity as well as in the activity of interleukin 2. It is in this group of children that immunomodulating effect of thymalin is less apparent.
