The authors have investigated the blood supply of the hip joint in aseptic necrosis following a bloodless reduction of a congenital dislocation of the hip with the help of serial angiography in 6 patients aged 3.5 to 8 years. The angiographic examination has allowed us to determine a reduction in the vascular field on the side affected by hip joint dysplasia as compared with the values on the conventionally normal side.
