Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) can produce antinociceptive and reparative effects. Presumably, the MSCs-induced antinociception may be partly due to the involvement of the endocannabinoid system. The study aimed to evaluate the antinociceptive and reparative effects of adipose-derived MSCs (ADMSCs) upon pharmacological modulation of cannabinoid CB receptor in peripheral tissues or on ADMSCs' membranes in a rat model of peripheral neuropathy.

This research aimed to study 2-HD effects on polymorphonuclear leukocytes' (PMNLs) functions. It has been shown that at submicromolar concentrations, 2-HD causes an elevation in ROS production by PMNLs.

One of the promising approaches is application of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), immobilized on a flexible polymer film, for healing. In this study, blended films based on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and pectin with different component ratio have been prepared by solution casting method and evaluated.

Here, we tested the hypothesis that TQ-induced mild oxidative stress provokes C6 glioma cell apoptosis through redox-dependent alteration of MAPK proteins. We showed that low concentrations of TQ (20-50 μM) promoted cell-cycle arrest and induced hydrogen peroxide generation as a result of NADH-quinone oxidoreductase 1-catalyzed two-electron reduction of this quinone.
