Silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) are increasingly used in various fields, including medicine, owing to their unique physicochemical properties. Due to their smaller size, the contact with biological components is increased, and consequently, it performs better as an antibacterial and antimicrobial. In this study, the authors have focused on the synthesis of small-sized spherical silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) by a chemical reduction method using two different capping agents and concentrations of AgNO as a precursor.

The chromatographic separation was carried out on an Inertsil ODS analytical column (150×4.6 mm; 5 μm) with a mixture of acetonitrile:phosphate buffer pH 3.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA simple, specific, accurate and stability-indicating reversed phase high performance liquid chromatographic method was developed for the simultaneous determination of mephenesin and diclofenac diethylamine, using a Spheri-5-RP-18 column and a mobile phase composed of methanol: water (70:30, v/v), pH 3.0 adjusted with o-phosphoric acid. The retention times of mephenesin and diclofenac diethylamine were found to be 3.

Osteoporosis encompasses a wide spectrum of conditions associated with imbalance of osteoclastic and osteoblastic activities. The increased activity of osteoclasts leads to increased free radical formation and hence lipid peroxidation. Present study probes into the role of antioxidants as a palliative treatment for osteoporosis.
