Objective: To investigate published cases of cervical ectopic pregnancy between 2000 and 2018 and compare management strategies and treatment success rates based on initial patient characteristics.
Methods: PubMed, EMBASE, and Web of Science were searched to capture peer-reviewed citations published between 2000 and 2018. Cases reporting either β-hCG level, crown-rump length, or gestational sac diameter for each individual patient were included.
Background: Although autologous non-cultured melanocyte-keratinocyte transplantation is a treatment option for stable vitiligo, there is lack of long-term maintenance data for this specific treatment.
Objective: To search for factors associated with long-term maintenance of patients with stable vitiligo successfully treated with melanocyte-keratinocyte transplantation.
Methods: This was a single-centre retrospective study including stable vitiligo patients who underwent successful melanocyte-keratinocyte transplantation in the National Center for Vitiligo, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, between 1 January 2004 and 30 June 2015.
Lung ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury contributes to post-transplant complications, including primary graft dysfunction. Decades of reports show that reactive oxygen species generated during lung IR contribute to pulmonary vascular endothelial barrier disruption and edema formation, but the specific target molecule(s) that "sense" injury-inducing oxidant stress to activate signaling pathways culminating in pathophysiologic changes have not been established. This review discusses evidence that mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) may serve as a molecular sentinel wherein oxidative mtDNA damage functions as an upstream trigger for lung IR injury.

Objective: We sought to determine long-term repigmentation of MKTP in vitiligo and other leukodermas.
Methods: A retrospective review of electronic medical records was conducted for all MKTPs performed at Henry Ford Hospital between January 2009 and April 2014.
The Vitiligo Global Issues Consensus Conference (VGICC), through an international e-Delphi consensus, concluded that 'repigmentation' and 'maintenance of gained repigmentation' are essential core outcome measures in future vitiligo trials. This VGICC position paper addresses these core topics in two sections and includes an atlas depicting vitiligo repigmentation patterns and color match. The first section delineates mechanisms and characteristics of vitiligo repigmentation, and the second section summarizes the outcomes of international meeting discussions and two e-surveys on vitiligo repigmentation, which had been carried out over 3 yr.
