Introduction: Low anterior resection syndrome (LARS) can be a debilitating condition that develops after undergoing sphincter-preserving surgery for rectal cancer. Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy is a common side effect of platinum-based chemotherapy agents used as systemic therapy for rectal cancer treatment.
