Background: Mastectomy is the first single surgery that transgender men and nonbinary people frequently undergo. We present a prospective series of 155 cases of double incision mastectomy (DIM) with nipple-areolar complex (NAC) graft.

Methods: From January 2019 to December 2022, 165 outpatients were operated on, and 155 are included in the study.

Rationale: Most child well-being and childhood adversity research is informed by proxy informants such as parents or teachers rather than children and youth. This may be due to concerns about perceived sensitivity, challenges accessing and engaging with children in research, ethical considerations, and apprehensions about causing undue harm and distress. This study aimed to understand adolescents' identification of, and reactions to, questions in the context of participating in a survey of well-being and adversity.

Objective: The COVID-19 pandemic challenged the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network's (GOARN) mechanism used to rapidly deploy technical support for international responses and highlighted areas that require strengthened capacity within the Network. GOARN's partners in the World Health Organization's (WHO) South-East Asia and Western Pacific regions were engaged to explore their levels of preparedness, readiness and ability to respond to international public health emergencies.

Methods: Consultative discussions were held and a survey was conducted with GOARN's partners from the two WHO regions.
