In this study, a rapid, precise, accurate, specific and sensitive ion-paired reverse phase liquid chromatographic method has been developed for the simultaneous estimation of nebivolol hydrochloride and valsartan in their capsule formulation. The chromatographic method was standardized using a HIQ sil C(18) column (250x4.6 mm i.

Optimization of CH:HG ratio needs to be undertaken on a case basis, depending on the presence of other excipients in the formulation.

As the molecular weight and viscosity of hydrolyzed gelatins increased, the compressibility of granules decreased and their compactability increased. The balance between compressibility and compactability of granules may be achieved by careful monitoring of the molecular weight of hydrolyzed gelatins that can serve as potential binders.
