The use of artificial intelligence (AI) platforms is revolutionizing the performance in managing metadata and big data. Medicine is another field where AI is spreading. However, this technological advancement is not amenable to errors or fraudulent misconducts.

Introduction: Bhramari Pranayama (BP) is a yogic breathing technique that involves producing a vibrating constant pitch sound emulating the buzzing of bumblebee. Since BP deals with breathing and humming in the sustained pitch, it is hypothesized that it can have implications for improving voice quality in individuals. However, there is a dearth of research available to support this assumption.

Background: Spontaneous hematoma of the umbilical cord is a rare, unpreventable, and dramatic event mainly due to a disruption of the vascular wall, often resulting in adverse perinatal outcome.

Case: We describe a case of a term fetus with acute hemorrhage in the cord occurred intrapartum during spontaneous vaginal delivery. No iatrogenic factors were involved because no drugs, obstetric instruments, or procedures were applied.

Background: Myocardial salvage has been shown to be dependent on the time elapsed from the onset of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) to reperfusion. The aim of this study was to evaluate the importance of time to reperfusion for left ventricular function recovery after primary angioplasty (percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty [PTCA]) for AMI.

Methods: Ninety-five patients undergoing long-term successful PTCA for AMI were studied.

The purpose of the present study was to test whether the administration of a vascular-selective organic calcium antagonist (nisoldipine) at the onset of early mechanical reperfusion (by coronary angioplasty) in acute myocardial infarction could prevent or attenuate postischemic stunning and enhance the recovery of left ventricular function in these patients. The study included 36 patients with anterior acute myocardial infarction who underwent an early and successful primary coronary angioplasty within 3 hours of the onset of chest pain (mean time to reperfusion = 113 +/- 37 minutes). The infarct-related artery was the left anterior descending artery in all patients.
