Rationale: The 5-HT receptor is expressed widely across the brain and is implicated in the mechanism of action of several therapeutics for mood disorders. However, there is limited and contradictory evidence about the role of this receptor in emotional processing and cognition.

Objectives: The current study tested the acute effects of a single dose of the 5-HT agonist buspirone (20 mg), on a range of emotional processing (Emotional Test Battery) and cognitive (Auditory Verbal Learning Task (AVLT) and N-back) tasks in healthy, male and female volunteers (N = 62).

Purpose: Adolescents and young adult survivors of head and neck cancers are at risk of long-term complications stemming from their diagnosis and treatment. A cross-sectional study was performed on recalled survivors with the objective of reviewing their response to recall and preferences for ongoing care, to determine health service use before recall, and to describe knowledge and information seeking.

Methods: Survivors of head and neck cancer diagnosed between the ages 15-39 during the period 1970-2010 and treated with radiotherapy were invited to the survey.

This intuitive approach has informed the understanding of key nodes in the social parts of the brain, the dorsomedial prefrontal cortex (dmPFC) and the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC).

In return, consumers can benefit foundation species by reducing top-down pressures and increasing the supply of nutrients. Consumer-mediated nutrient dynamics (CND) fuel the growth of autotrophic foundation species and generate more habitat for consumers, forming reciprocal feedbacks.

Improving Human Papillomavirus Vaccine Administration Using Medical-Dental Integration.

Background And Objectives: Children aged 9 years and older visit dental providers more frequently than medical providers. Routine dental visits include screenings for human papillomavirus (HPV)-related oropharyngeal cancers and provide opportunities for HPV vaccination. The objective of this project was to implement a medical-dental integration (MDI) program to enhance HPV vaccine administration among children aged 9 to 17 years being seen at dental clinics.
