[Thyroid carcinoma in childhood].

A retrospective analysis of the thyroid gland carcinoma in children, cured at the Institute of Oncology, was more frequent in girls (76%) than in boys. The changes were analysed according to TNM classification using the protocol for diagnostic and treatment procedures. The approach of the protocol was the same for children and adult population.
