Purpose: This study aimed to identify risk factors for distant metastasis (DM) in patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective analysis of 516 patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity from 1986 through 2009 was performed. DM was classified as 2 types based on whether patients had locoregional failure (LRF).

The determination of five drugs, fenfluramine (FEN), N-nitrosofenfluramine (NFE), sibutramine (SIB), mazindol (MAZ) and phenolphthalein (PHP), was studied in slimming health foods using GC-MS/MS. These drugs have been detected at high rates, especially in slimming health foods. Prolonged or excessive consumption of non-approved or unauthorized pharmaceuticals may cause serious adverse health consequences.

Neuroimaging showed a small arteriovenous malformation (AVM) in the right cerebellopontine angle. Suboccipital craniotomy verified that the AVM was almost completely embedded in the root entry zone of the trigeminal nerve and the nerve axis was tilted infero-posteriorly.

Background And Purpose: Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) was introduced as a good technique to evaluate structural abnormalities in the white matter. In this study, we used DTI to examine anisotropic changes of the pyramidal tracts displaced by chronic subdural hematoma (CSDH).
Materials And Methods: Twenty-six patients with unilateral CSDH underwent DTI before and after surgery.
