Introduction: Duodenal stump disruption remains one of the most dreadful postgastrectomy complications, posing an overwhelming therapeutic challenge.

Presentation Of Case: The present report describes the extremely rare occurrence of a delayed duodenal stump disruption following total gastrectomy with Roux-en-Y esophagojejunostomy for cancer, because of mechanical obstruction of the distal jejunum resulting in increased backpressure on afferent limp and duodenal stump. Surgical management included repair of distal jejunum obstruction, mobilization and re-stapling of the duodenum at the level of its intact second part and retrograde decompressing tube duodenostomy through the proximal jejunum.

Intramural dissection of the renal collecting system during percutaneous nephrostomy (PCN) is a rare complication that can be challenging to diagnose. In this report, we describe the computed tomography (CT) and fluoroscopic findings of urothelial dissection during CT-guided PCN in a 65-year old patient with an obstructed congenital solitary left kidney due to an urinary bladder carcinoma. To our knowledge, CT findings of urothelial dissection have not yet been described.

Intrahepatic portosystemic venous shunts: radiological evaluation.

Purpose: The purpose of our study was to evaluate the imaging findings of intrahepatic portosystemic venous shunts (IPSVS) in asymptomatic patients.

Materials And Methods: Between 2002 and 2008, we examined 8 patients with IPSVS which were found incidentally. Diagnosis was based on ultrasonography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging findings.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the usefulness of CT guided adrenal biopsy in patients with equivocal MR chemical shift imaging findings.

Material And Methods: Fifty seven patients, 32 with history of malignancy and 25 without history of malignancy, 30 men and 27 women (33-82 years, mean age:58.8 years), with equivocal findings in chemical shift MR imaging, were subjected to CT guided percutaneous adrenal biopsy.
