Background: Financial stress has been an increasing area of concern for residents and attendings. The primary goal of this study was to determine the financial education level and differentiate financial outcome measures of orthopaedic surgery residents and attendings.

Methods: A survey of all residents and attendings of the 201 Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited orthopaedic surgery programs in the United States.

Advancing guideline quality through country-wide and regional quality assessment of CPGs using AGREE: a scoping review.

Background And Objective: Clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) are evaluated for quality with the Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation (AGREE) tool, and this is increasingly done for different countries and regional groupings. This scoping review aimed to describe, map, and compare these geographical synthesis studies, that assessed CPG quality using the AGREE tool. This allowed a global interpretation of the current landscape of these country-wide or regional synthesis studies, and a closer look at its methodology and results.

Objectives: Evaluate the effect of easing "shelter-in-place" restrictions and coronavirus-2019 (COVID-19) cases on orthopaedic trauma encounters (OTEs) at a community level II trauma center.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted of OTEs from March-June of 2016 to 2020. Injuries were classified by high or low severity.

A Quality Initiative to Decrease Time Until Analgesic for Fracture-associated Pain in the Pediatric Emergency Department.

Unlabelled: Long bone fractures are a common cause of pain in the pediatric emergency department (PED), and ensuring timely delivery of analgesic medications is essential for these children. We aimed to decrease the median time to the first dose of analgesic for long bone fracture-associated pain in our PED to 36 minutes or less by July 1, 2015.

Methods: A series of 4 initiatives were implemented in successive "plan, do, study, act" rapid cycles.
