Background: Pervasive pregnancy denial is a rare condition associated with distress and unassisted delivery.

Case Presentation: The case involves a 38-year-old woman (NN), with two older children (ages 8 and 11), who was unaware, until delivery, that she had been pregnant. The case is discussed in the context of a 12-week observation of postpartum mood, stress, and mother-child attachment.

Neural responses to monetary incentives in postpartum women affected by baby blues.

Up to 50% of new mothers experience baby blues (BB) within a week of delivery, with affective disturbances being the central symptoms. Because reward processing is known to be affected in depression, this study sought to investigate whether incentive processing during the experience of BB can be altered through the monetary incentive delay (MID) task. The MID task allows reward processing to be investigated based on responses to 'anticipation' and 'feedback of reward or loss'.

Characterization of Depressive Symptom Trajectories in Women between Childbirth and Diagnosis.

The inhomogeneity of postpartum mood and mother-child attachment was estimated from immediately after childbirth to 12 weeks postpartum in a cohort of 598 young mothers. At 3-week intervals, depressed mood and mother-child attachment were assessed using the EPDS and the MPAS, respectively. The diagnosis was based on clinical interviews at the end of the 12-week follow-up.

Technical feasibility analysis and introduction strategy of the virtually coupled train set concept.

Today's railway network capacity is limited by constraints imposed by traditional train protection systems. A way to overcome those limitations, maximize the railway network performance and also increase the operational flexibility is presented by the Virtually Coupled Train Set (VCTS) concept. This paper evaluates the technical feasibility of this approach, that was developed and is further evaluated in the framework of the Shift2Rail (S2R) project X2Rail-3.

Endometriosis, psychiatric comorbidities and neuroimaging: Estimating the odds of an endometriosis brain.

Endometriosis is a chronic pain disorder that affects young women, impairing their physical, mental and social well-being. Apart from personal suffering, it imposes a significant economic burden on the healthcare system. We analyzed studies reporting comorbid mental disorders in endometriosis based on the ICD/DSM criteria, discussing them in the context of available neuroimaging studies.
