Anti-myeloperoxidase (anti-MPO) associated vasculitis can result in rapid clinical deterioration. Immunosuppressive therapy is effective but involving considerable toxicity, and disease relapse frequently ensues. Laboratory parameters, such as C-reactive protein and anti-MPO titer, have substantial values in monitoring disease activity.

Nineteen transvaginal, sono-guided ovarian cyst punctures were performed in 18 patients. These patients, who were high surgical risks, were diagnosed to possess benign ovarian tumors as revealed with sonography. Aspiration curettage of the inner surface of the cyst present during aspiration was also performed to facilitate cytologic diagnosis.

We report an unusual case of a 70-year-old female with rhabdomyosarcoma of the uterus following radiotherapy for her stage IIIb cervical carcinoma 5 years ago. To our knowledge this may be the first case of rhabdomyosarcoma originating from the uterus following cervical cancer radiotherapy.
