A vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology enables bidirectional power exchange between electric vehicles (EVs) and the power grid, presenting enhanced grid stability and load management opportunities. This study investigates a comprehensive microgrid system integrating EVs with solar (8 MW), wind (4.5 MW), and diesel generation sources, focusing on peak load reduction and frequency regulation capabilities.

As medical knowledge continues to advance each day and there are multiple competencies that need to be acquired by undergraduate students, it becomes quite challenging for them to become competent within the period of training. The purpose of the current review is to explore the process of peer observation, identify the benefits attributed to peer observation, and explore various strategies to measure the impact of peer observation in medical education. An extensive search of all materials related to the topic was carried out on the PubMed and Google Scholar search engines and a total of 25 articles were selected based on their suitability with the current review objectives.

Article Synopsis
  • Primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) in adolescents is uncommon and typically leads to more severe symptoms than in adults, with skeletal issues being rare and mostly documented in case studies.
  • A unique case is reported of a 19-year-old male with a windswept deformity, characterized by the bending of his legs at the knee, who was diagnosed with PHPT after showing elevated calcium and parathyroid hormone levels.
  • After identifying and surgically removing a parathyroid adenoma, the patient's calcium and parathyroid hormone levels returned to normal, and he is now scheduled for corrective surgery once his alkaline phosphatase stabilizes.
