Objectives: The endoscopic features of gastric neuroendocrine tumors (G-NETs) remain unclarified. The present study investigated the endoscopic features of G-NETs in relation to the clinicopathological findings.
Methods: This retrospective study analyzed consecutive patients with G-NETs who received endoscopic or surgical treatment between January 2005 and December 2023.
Background And Study Aims: Emergency surgery is usually required for patients with delayed perforation after gastric endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD); however, cases of successful endoscopic treatment recently have been reported. Here, we elucidated the usefulness of endoscopic intervention for patients with delayed perforation.
Patients And Methods: Patients who underwent gastric ESD from 2005 to 2022 were assessed for eligibility.
Objectives: Endoscopic full-thickness resection for gastric submucosal tumors is gradually gaining popularity, and secure and amenable closure is key to its success. This study aimed to compare the reopenable clip over-the-line method with the purse-string method for defect closure after endoscopic full-thickness resection for gastric submucosal tumors.
Methods: This historical control trial included 37 consecutive patients with 37 gastric submucosal tumors, who underwent endoscopic full-thickness resection between January 2021 and July 2024.
Background And Study Aims: Diffuse infiltrative gastric cancer can be difficult to diagnose owing to a lack of endoscopic features in the superficial mucosa. Moreover, a forceps biopsy may not reveal a pathological diagnosis. We aimed to evaluate the diagnostic yield and safety of endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and 'open-lid submucosal biopsy', a technique wherein EMR followed by biopsy of the ulcer floor is performed for a pathological diagnosis.

With advances in endoscopic technology and widespread screening of synchronous cancers, the detection of synchronous HNSCC and superficial ESCC (SESCC) is increasing. We aimed to evaluate the impact of preceding HNSCC treatment on synchronous SESCC.
