Background: Stroke is a neurological disease and a leading cause of mortality worldwide. Strokes mainly consist of two types: hemorrhage and ischemia. Stroke patients are being administered multiple drug therapy and are at risk of drug-related problems.

Association of Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome (PRES) with Preeclampsia with Severe Symptoms and Eclampsia in South East Part of Bangladesh.

Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a pathology seen not only in precelampsia with severe symptoms and eclampsia but in a varicty of diseases/ conditions. With the availability of neuroimaging, it is possible to know the exact underlying Central nervous system (CNS) pathology in preeclampsia with severe symptoms and eclampsia and thus therapy can be targeted. Preeclampsia with severe symptoms and eclampsia remains to be an important cause of maternal morbidity and mortality in both the developing and developed world.

Meningitis is an important cause of morbidity and mortality in children and adults. Its treatment strategy varies with age and gender. To assess potential drug-related problems (PDRP) and clinical outcomes in bacterial meningitis patients, a multicenter, clinical, descriptive, cross-sectional prospective observational study in 120 patients admitted to different tertiary care hospitals in Karachi was conducted.
