In this assessment, activated charcoals supported on Ag-InO nanomaterials were blended by hydrothermal system. The morphology constitution, surface assets and optical description of synthesized nanomaterials were characterized by XRD, UV-DRS, PL, HR-SEM and EDAX, HR-TEM, SAED pattern, FT-IR, XPS, BET, CV and VSM techniques.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to assess the feasibility of non-invasive assessment of cerebral hemodynamics using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) in patients with intracranial dural arteriovenous fistula (DAVF) and to correlate the hemodynamic changes with definitive endovascular treatment.

Methodology: Twenty-seven DAVF patients and 23 healthy controls underwent 20-mins task-based functional near-infrared spectroscopy and neuropsychology evaluation. The mean change in the hemoglobin concentrations obtained from the prefrontal cortex was assessed for oxyhemoglobin, deoxyhemoglobin, and oxygen saturation (HbO, HbR, and SO, respectively).

Multipotent neural stem cells (NSCs) are found in several isolated niches of the adult mammalian brain where they have unique potential to assist in tissue repair. Modern transcriptomics offer high-throughput methods for identifying disease or injury associated gene expression signatures in endogenous adult NSCs, but they require adaptation to accommodate the rarity of NSCs. Bulk RNA sequencing (RNAseq) of NSCs requires pooling several mice, which impedes application to labor-intensive injury models.
