Background: Pancreatic acinar cell carcinoma (PACC) is a rare subtype of pancreatic cancer and the clinicopathological behavior of PACC is not yet fully understood. PACC rarely invades the main pancreatic duct (MPD), which causes intraductal growth. Thus, herein, we have reported a rare case of PACC that invaded the MPD and disseminated to the branches of the pancreatic duct (BDs) without exhibiting any continuity with the main tumor.

Methods: We reviewed records from consecutive patients who had undergone curative surgical resection of T2 colorectal cancer at our institution in Japan between April 2001 and December 2021. Data on conventional clinicopathologic variables were retrieved from the pathology reports at the time of surgery.
Hemostasis for post-endoscopic sphincterotomy (post-EST) bleeding involves no standard strategy. New clips designed for delivery using the duodenoscope (SureClip, Micro-Tech, Nanjing, China) have been utilized for gastrointestinal bleeding hemostasis and bleeding prevention after polypectomy and papillectomy. We retrospectively analyzed the effectiveness and safety of SureClip for post-EST bleeding.

One of the main challenges is the existence of hidden variables; we only have records for some variables, and those for hidden variables are unavailable. In this work, the techniques for Carleman linearization, phase-space embedding, and dynamic mode decomposition are integrated to rebuild an optimal dynamical system from time series for one specific variable.
