Background: The aim of the study was to evaluate the efficacy of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) using the CyberKnife-M6 (CK-M6) with lung optimized treatment (LOT) module in patients with primary lung cancer and lung metastases.
Methods: Forty-two lesions from 35 patients were treated between 2019 and 2022. Four-dimensional computed tomography images were obtained when the patients were in a free breathing modality.
The study aimed to assess the pleth variability index (PVI) in patients undergoing lumbar disc herniation surgery under general and spinal anesthesia, exploring its correlation with fluid responsiveness, position, and hemodynamic parameters. Methods: This prospective study included 88 ASA 1-2 patients, aged 18-65, undergoing 1-3 h elective lumbar disc herniation surgery. Materials And Methods: Simulation images were obtained in 10 respiratory phases with free breathing using four-dimensional computed tomography (4D-CT) scanner. Planning target volume (PTV) was created with 5mm margins in each direction of the internal target volume delineated using the maximum intensity projection.
The importance of next generation sequencing (NGS) rises in cancer research as accessing this key technology becomes easier for researchers. The sequence data created by NGS technologies must be processed by various bioinformatics algorithms within a pipeline in order to convert raw data to meaningful information.
