The Model Reference Adaptive System (MRAS) is effective for speed control in sensorless Induction Motor (IM) drives, particularly at zero and very low speeds. This study enhances MRAS's resilience and dynamic performance by integrating an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) controller into sensorless vector-controlled IM drives. The research addresses challenges related to parameter uncertainties, load variations, and external disturbances through the combination of MRAS and ANFIS.

Introduction: Dental pain and dental anxiety are the most common determinants of negative dental experience, the reason for broken appointments and ignored oral health care affecting the quality of life.

Aim: To evaluate the effects of distraction techniques using virtual reality and eight-dimension (8D) audio analgesia method on pain perception and anxiety levels in children during restorative procedures.

Materials And Methods: A total of 120 children between the ages of 4 and 10 years old who visited for the first time to a pediatric dental department were grouped equally between three interventional groups.

The airborne transmission of infectious diseases and bioaerosol-induced cross-contamination pose significant challenges in the food, dairy, and pharma industries. This study evaluated the effectiveness of 279 nm UV-C LED irradiation for decontaminating bioaerosols, specifically containing microorganisms such as (C3040- Kanamycin resistant), Enteritidis (ATCC 4931), and (ATCC 4973), on food contact surfaces. Borosilicate glass, silicon rubber, and stainless steel (316L) surfaces were selected for experimentation for their usage in the food industry.

Allergic rhinitis and asthma are commonly coexisting conditions, significantly impacting patient health and quality of life. Despite their interrelation, diagnosing allergic rhinitis in patients with asthma remains challenging, leading to underdiagnosis and suboptimal management. The expert consensus engaged a modified Delphi method involving 29 experts including pulmonologists, ear, nose, and throat surgeons, and allergologists.

Research Question: What are the specific genetic alterations and associated network in endometriotic cells responsible for the disease pathogenesis?

Design: Case control experimental study involving 45 women with endometriosis who underwent laparoscopic surgery (case) and 45 normal samples from women undergoing total abdominal hysterectomy (control). The endometrial samples were subjected to whole exome sequencing (WES) of endometriotic tissue and copy number variation analysis. Validation of gene hits were obtained from WES using polymerase chain reaction techniques, immunological techniques, in-silico tools and transgenic cell line models.
