In contrast, three randomized-studies "failed-to-find" a difference between randomly-assigned-CCT and control-groups-each study repeatedly summarized in revisions of a Cochrane-meta-analysis reporting this failure. Considering the potential health and safety threats to people with severe-mental-illness and those with whom they interact, there is a critical need for this investigation to resolve these conflicting results.

This qualitative study explored Syrian refugees' narrations of captivity and torture, and the consequences of such extreme traumatic events on their physical and psychosocial health.
