E6AP/UBE3A is the founding member of the HECT (Homologous to the E6-AP Carboxyl Terminus) ubiquitin E3 ligase family, which add ubiquitin post-translationally to protein substrates. E6AP has been structurally defined in complex with human papillomavirus (HPV) oncoprotein E6 and its gain-of-function substrate tumor suppressor p53; however, there is currently no report of E6AP being expressed and purified from mammalian cells, as studies to date have isolated E6AP from E. coli or insect cells.

We demonstrate that a customized, low-cost archival DNA extraction protocol (∼€10 per sample), in combination with Ultraconserved Elements (UCEs), is an effective tool for insect phylogenomic studies. We successfully tested our approach by sequencing DNA from scarab dung beetles preserved in both wet and dry collections, including unique primary type and rare historical specimens from internationally important natural history museums in London, Paris and Helsinki.

Using this model, the distant interaction between aqueous solutions was demonstrated, and the role of a CMF in the regulation of this phenomenon was established. In the current study, highly diluted (HD) phorbol myristate acetate (PMA) solution (the donor) was incubated with aqueous ethanol (the acceptor), both in a CMF-generating device and under geomagnetic field (GMF), for 0, 20, and 60 min.

These species are presumed to form a monophyletic clade nested within the African .Semantic modelling of phenotypes using ontologies represents a transformative approach to species description in biology, making phenotypic data FAIR and computable.
